The Chronicles of Sacravia
Sacravia is said to be the oldest land known to mortals, a realm where gods once walked openly among men. Long before mortals existed, the Supreme God exhaled the first breath of life over the barren plains. Wherever this sacred wind touched, rivers sprang, forests grew, and mountains rose. To this day, Sacravians believe that every tree, stone, and stream carries a fragment of this divine breath, making the land itself sacred.
The Birth of Light and Shadow
Legends tell that the heavens were shaped by the celestial siblings, Solara and Lunaris, who danced across the skies to create day and night. Their steps etched valleys, sculpted mountains, and filled the lands with lakes and rivers. Their laughter and tears infused the earth with life and fertility. Where Lunaris’ tears touched the land, the first city arose, a place of light, renewal, and divine blessing. This city became the capital of Sacravia, known as Solaris, the heart of the realm and the sacred center from which the High Priest reigned over the land. The Pink Moon (in April), under which the Lunaspring Dreaming occurs, is said to shine brightest over Solaris, renewing its bounty and opening the veil between mortals and gods.

The Withdrawal of the Divine
When the Supreme God withdrew from mortal eyes, he left behind a High Priest, his chosen mortal heir, to interpret divine will and maintain the sacred bond between heaven and earth. Lesser gods of the grand Pantheon oversee life, death, and the changing seasons, each honored in ritual and prayer.
Faith, Family, and the Sacred Bond
The Sacravian people hold marriage as sacred and unbreakable, forbidding divorce entirely. Young men and women often wait years to find their ideal partner, believing that true unions are preordained and blessed by the gods. This devotion to faith and family shapes their culture deeply, fostering close-knit communities and a reverence for tradition.
The Land Blessed by the Gods
Sacravia’s geography mirrors its divine favor. Fertile regions, rich with orchards and vineyards, support sprawling farmlands where life thrives in abundance. In contrast, densely populated areas cluster around the sacred cities and trade hubs, creating bustling centers of commerce and devotion. Pilgrims from across the world journey to Sacravia, drawn by its mystical energy, in search of their true selves, spiritual enlightenment, or guidance from the High Priest. The land itself is considered a teacher, its rivers, mountains, and sacred sites offering lessons in patience, devotion, and balance.
The Lunaspring Dreaming
The heart of Sacravian devotion is the Lunaspring Dreaming, an annual festival held only once a year during the Pink Moon. On this night, the High Priest presides over the ritual. Names of young virgins are drawn from a sacred glass jar, and five chosen women are consecrated to the Supreme God. They are buried beneath the earth, an offering believed to renew life, fertility, and the blessings of the gods. Though terrifying to outsiders, this act is seen by Sacravians as the highest honor, a sacred duty ensuring the land’s continued prosperity and divine favor.
Under the Gaze of the Supreme God
Legends say that during the Pink Moon, the Supreme God Himself descends invisibly to accept these offerings, his presence felt in the gentle rustle of wind, the scent of spring flowers, and the shimmering glow upon the earth. Through devotion, ritual, and unbroken tradition, Sacravia endures as a thearchy unlike any other, a nation where faith is absolute, life is governed by divine will, and the land itself flourishes under the watchful gaze of the gods.
